For my final renders, I decided to pursue a more "strange" idea. I was heavily inspired by shows like "Evangelion" and "Berserk". In these shows, evil and darkness is ironically shown to be as angelic beings from the heavens. At first, they seem beautiful and perfect, but they always turn into hideous beasts that show their ultimate true colors.
For my project, I wanted to portray consumerism as an angelic being that radiate an underlying ominous intent. I kept the color palette to white and gold to represent that "heavenly" trait but kept the background black to send the message of a hidden darkness underneath its pure exterior.
